    Low frequency waves from the controlled detonation of 100 tons of high explosives in the Negev Desert in Israel were detected as far as 6,500km away by CTBTO infrasound stations, including in Russia, Kazakhstan and in Mongolia.

    Reminded me of some of the other high explosives test during the time of nuclear testing done by the U.S. and Russia shown in the video galleries. Its amazing how those sensors can detect a relatively "small" explosion like that so far away.
