Did you know that the Germans were actually the FIRST to come up with the idea of the atomic bomb? It was them who first discovered the power of the splitting atom. The even had the world's first atomic-bomb design. Everything about the design was PERFECT, except that the critical mass of the plutonium was incorrect. The critical mass of plutonium (formula k=f-|) is about 50 kilograms. The German atom bomb design had the critical mass as only 5 kilograms. However, if they did find out the real critical mass of plutonium, the world would not have been the same as it is today. Scary, huh? |

Wait a second, are you sure the explosion picture you posted is actually a nuclear one at all? It could just be a large high-explosive or fuel-air bomb. And if the Nazis really did succesfully build the bomb, why didn't they use any against their enemies? |

The picture sonicbomb posted over there was very controverse, to be honest nobody believed in it and it was discarded as a poor attempt to bring forward irrelevant footage.

Thats why it says 'claimed', and in answer to the other questions read the article. |

That's the funniest nonsense about Ruegen being used for a nuclear test.
Ruegen is among Germany's most popular resorts for vacationers, and has been since the 1930s. Hitler even built massive blockhouses there (during his Strength though Joy/Kraft durch Freude public works program) for his people, among the largest construction projects in European history.
Here is an article about Hitler's massive vacation project (also meant to get money for the Third Reich from government paid worker and soldier families):

Here are photos from the east side of the island of Ruegen today (which I did not post):

... Yet not corroborated by any mainstream sources.
Germans in general would also be outraged at fissile contamination of their hugely popular Ruegen. Yet there is not even a word from activists and Greens about this made-up story.

I stand by my analysis, if the Nazis had a weapon they would have used it. |

Nobody messes with Germany's Ruegen.
One can also go to Bavaria, Germany (and elsewhere) and hear "RRRRRRUUUUUEEEEEEGEN!" -- with a rolling R tongue and emphatic umlaut -- yelled as a party cheer at beer drinking festivals and Fasching holiday ski parties:
(Phonetic)
Tsikki-tsahki, tsikki-tsahki, HOI! HOI! HOI! RRRRRRRRÜÜÜÜÜÜÜGEN!

I'm sure Grav loves being called "Dude" but what makes you think Grav has access to that information? |
