    In some of the pictures near the bottom, it shows the firetrucks which were the first to respond to the fire. They are some of the most radioactive objects in Chernobyl, and the photographer probably got a huge dose of radiation from them...I'm guessing the helicopters are the ones which dropped sand and other stuff on the burning graphite from the explosion. And it shows the buses that shipped everybody out of Pripyat and the 30km exclusion zone.
