Orange Herald?

Please, just watch it closely... the second orange herald video... isn't it just the higher-quality video version of Short Granite?

My identification is correct. . Pay close attention to the number, and duration of the PG clouds that form under the fireball. If you look at this news reel clip and listen to the commentry, in the context of Orange Herald it makes perfect sense. The BBC also agreed with my identification.

On a non-transpotting technicality (!) the documentary listed as

"Britains Cold War Secret Weapons"

is actually called

"Britain's Cold War Super Weapons"

As already mentioned, those clips of Operation Grapple are from the documentry "Britains Cold War Secret Weapons". The information on youtube.com regarding material of this nature usually isnt worth the ASCII it is printed with. However in this case if you had read the description it would have told you the source of the footage.

Beuschu, I'm assuming you are being sarcastic as that video contains a lot more than just a few seconds, no?

Identifying shots especially non-US ones is an inexact science at best. I use photographs of known origins, guesswork and in no small part the opinions of the learned members of this forum and it's previous incarnation.

If you would closely look at that, they are again so similar that the only difference is where you view it, and to when you view it.
